Construction begins on Berg housecall bicycle

Housecall bike construction begins
Al Bergman, of Berg Bikes, begins construction of the custom housecall bicycle. The CAD drawing for the bike is in his lap
Al Bergman, proprietor of Berg Bikes has begun construction of a custom housecall bicycle for Dr. O'Connor. Measurements are complete and some components are already en-route. Al will be building the bicycle in his accessible workshop, using upcycled scrap airplane titanium tubing to weld together into the frame.

Visiting endocrinologist joins the team

Patients of the practice can now avail of the expert service of a visiting endocrinologist. With decades of experience in the filed, matched with a friendly bedside manner, he is welcomed to the medical office.

The endocrinologist is a specialist physician who helps with endocrine-related issues such as thyroid, hormones, adrenal glands, diabetes and others.

Donna completes Kusam Klimb

Congrats to office manager Donna Berndt, who, leading by example, showed excellent fitness motivation by completing the Kusam Klimb. The Kusam Klimb is an 23 kilometer hike held annually on the summer solstice. The day's rigorous climb starts from sea level, travels all the way up to 4,800 feet above sea level and back down again. Nicely done Donna!

There is a resident bald eagle nest on Delgada Road, a few doors up from the office driveway toward Metchosin Road. If listen for the peeping, and look closely with the binoculars, can see the camouflaged baby eaglets poking out of edge of the nest.
